
Northwest Center is a King County contracted provider of Birth to Three Early Intervention Services for children with developmental delays and disabilities.
What is Early Intervention?
The purpose of the Early Intervention is to support families through the early detection of a developmental delay, discussion of the family's priorities, evaluation, planning and implementation of goals that are important to the family.

Where are services provided?
The service setting(s) are determined by families. Services can be provided at home, in a community setting and /or in Northwest Center’s Child Development Program.
What happens during a session?
A primary service provider coaches parents and caregivers in achieving family driven outcomes. Intervention strategies are individualized and incorporated into naturalistic, child directed, routine or play based activities targeting functional skills in daily learning opportunities.
What is a primary service provider?
A member of the team will be selected as a family’s primary service provider based on desired outcomes. That member will receive support from the multidisciplinary team through joint visits and/ or coaching at team meetings.
How do referrals work?
